Shipments can be tracked and identified in real-time by having operators
provide continuous input to the computer network using barcode readers,
manually selecting available shipments from a list, etc. By knowing the exact
shipment being unloaded in real-time, AccuTrack can provide the following
information to operations, environmental, accounting, auditing, accounts
payable, etc: Deliveries can be tracked automatically to the exact unload
destination(s) Unload variance reports are created automatically which compare
vendor shipment properties to plant process information on a per-shipment basis
Unload activity (as seen in the plant's OSISoft™ PI System™) will be accounted
for by assigning the latent data to a unique shipment Allows accurate record
keeping and easy access to in-transit shipment information
