At ECG, we develop statistical models that describe engineering or scientific processes.
The models can be based on theoretical mathematical functions or on empirical data. These
types of models can be used for true estimation/prediction of process outputs, for
instrument calibration, or for process optimization.

Finite element modeling and analyses of both statically loaded and dynamic systems of machinery
and structures is offered by experienced engineers. Dynamic analysis include the calculation of
machinery frequencies and resonances, response to transient inputs as well as shock spectrum for
US Navy DDAM analyses as well as response spectrum analyses associated with seismic motions. The
finite element tools used are the FEMAP – NASTRAN package developed by Noran Engineering, Inc.
Stresses are evaluated using brittle fracture methods, fatigue analyses, static collapse, or
deformation etc. depending on the appropriate mode of failure.
