Dynegy Midwest awards ECG contract for RollBowlCOP™ Technology to enhance their Pulverizer Condition Based Maintenance program at their coal generating plants. November 2005

Working together with the Process Technology department of DTE Energy, ECG is entering the final stages of development on the MISO Unit Commitment Framework. The system includes a web-based software system to track and report a System—Wide Generation Morning Report, scheduled and forced derates and outages, unit committed load, unit fuel consumption schedules. The system also features automated data interfaces for minimizing entry into existing databases such as P3M. October 2005

ECG is developing a Tagging Software solution for the Monroe Power Plant. The software will allow operators to configure a set of tags and a sign off sheet for any piece of equipment that requires a multisystem tag-out. DTE plans to roll the system out their other plants after it has been tested at Monroe. October 2005

Detroit Edison renews ECG’s contract to provide Process Technology Management Support at their Monroe power plant. ECG Supervisors will coordinate Plant Website, CEMS system, DBDOC, OSIsoft™ PI System™, Fuel Tracking and Notification Software. September 2005

ECG was contracted by DTE Energy to complete a web application to track timesheets, equipment, and material for one of its largest contractors. This system enables DTE to efficiently invoice this contractor. July 2005

ECG was contracted by EPRI to address a problem with vertical shaft failures at a Detriot Edison plant with CE/Alstom pulverizers. This DTE plant had failed 3 vertical shafts per year in the four years prior to our investigation. An RBC survey revealed the root cause of the failures. Once adjusted, the mills ran smoother and have been running without incident for 18 months. Several mills were instrumented for continuous analysis. ECG will present the results of the testing at the upcoming EPRI Pulverizer Users Group in Las Vegas in June. May 2005

Through the coordination of the EPRI Plant Maintenance Optimization team, FirstEnergy Corp (FEC) and ECG have arranged to adapt the RBC technology to the MPS-type mills. With an FEC generating plant as host site, the mature RBC technology will be extended to provide dynamic and physical traits of the grinding elements that are otherwise hidden. The on-line system will provide advisory data to operations and condition monitoring information for the technical staff. Historical trends will be able to project maintenance requirements and to provide information to address problems and enhanced reliability. April 2005

Reliant Energy selects ECG's RBC core system to assist in minimizing coal mill downtime. Further information on Reliant Energy can be found at www.reliant.com. March 2005

ECG has upgraded the AccuTrack system for a First Energy facility to track the reciept, consumption, and inventory of Sodium BiSulphite (SBS) from an offsite storage facility to the plant. The upgrade, written using Microsoft's .NET technlogy uses laser scanning and barcoding to track the SBS throughout the shipping and consumption process. Further information on First Energy can be found at www.firstenergycorp.com. February 2005

Detroit Edison contracts ECG to create an ASP.NET application for the Generation Optimization team at their General Office. The application provides a central interface for plant outage requests and load profiling as well as reporting on the current generation status of the entire fleet of DTE facilites. Further information on Detroit Edison can be found at www.dteenergy.com. February 2005

After a year of development the AccuTrack reporting interface has been migrated to Microsoft's .NET technology. The upgrade adds more robust functionality provided by the .NET Framework and is faster and more user friendly. The site went live at DTE and First Energy locations in early 2005. February 2005
